Arduin Bloody Arduin RPG Rule System is evolving, while being developed by our team at EmpCho for the last 2 years plus 2 months and counting…it is taking everything we have to make this a reality. Please be patient with us as we strive to bring you the best of Arduin a soon as we can!

This is an RPG Rule System for Arduin, which is Proprietary, easily be compatible with most Fantasy Role Play Games, 25 Races, 20 Classes, Hundreds of Spells, D20 for combat, Factors for Characters will be rolled up Arduin style, Racial Hit Points, CF Count for Initiative, Mana, and many aspects of Original Arduin. Selective playtesting is still on deck for Spring of next year (2024), Core books are still a Player’s Handbook, Gamemaster Guide and Monster Manual and nothing at this point has made us make a change to the plan for Arduin!

This sounds fantastic. I really, really wanted to like CA, but I feel it carried over a lot of Dave's "experimental" weirdness. Things like the leveling (where levels went to 100, ignoring the fact that, for example, it would take a Martial Artist 470 years to get to level 100, lol) and the unnecessarily complicated bits like many different formulas for Mana calculation. Simple is good, that is why OSR is so popular.

Also the BaffleFactor system which was too complicated and really diminished the effects of armor.

We completely agree Grishnakh! That is why the design philosophy with ABA is too keep it simple but not too simple!
