I thought it easier to list all our questions here, rather than individual bog down the board.

1. What happened to Lockpicking? It was in the playtest-beta, but I have not found it in the 2nd edition text. (It's not under Crime, Underworld or Clandestine) -- In trying to make a simple thief, I found this skill/ability necessary.

2. Do Goblins have a language? Other races have racially-bred languages (Elves, Dwarves, etc) but how do Goblins communicate?

3. If Deodanths are universally despised, I would think that generates the social motif of Despised, and where can I find details about that?

4. We also had a question regarding "Crude Sensor" (p543)when it came to developing schematics. As we discussed it amongst ourselves the problem seemed to be that "Crude Sensor" was sort of a binary condition (Is the item being triggered as to indicate a change in state), whereas the "Clockwork" was more an open-ended explanation of simple If/Then programming (similar to looping Rune constructions of the beta-playtest). Are we wrong in this thinking? Further, we question the entry under "Landmine" which has the sensor acting as both fuse and tripwire. Isn't the fuse's job to act as the fuse, after the tripwire has been tripped? l

5. How tall is a Clockwork Walker? (p555)?

6. The reason "Tumbling" (p239) is moved to Specialist rather than lower in the hierarchy is because of the mechanical advantage offered in CF count modification? If Tumbling was done in a non-combat situation (say I just wanted to roll as part of stealthy movement), is that still warranting such specialization?

7. Is "Lunge" (p283) part of a to-hit swing (am I lunging as part of my motion to strike) or is it merely the forward progression of my feet, making my strike on my next CF?

8. Are there other Racial Choices for Padha-Hha? (p73) The text reads "Select 3 choices from the Padha-Hha Racial Choice below, the General Racial Table or a mix of both. You may only take a Racial Choice once. (that part is underlined). Then you go on to list ONE choice "Aokile No", saying it takes 2 Racial Choices. The remaining choice is to come off the General table, or are there other choices available that aren't in text?

more to come.

9. Will the Red Phraint be making a return, possibly in the Bestiary?

10. On the General Beast trait chart (p102), for the item "Healthy Vigor", how is subtracting 10 helping the build resistance and health?

11. Do the references to "Time Lords" (for example found in the Marmachand culture and in the history of Khaas) refer to a particular species of human-looking British aliens known for their blue boxes? If so, can we expect to more mention of them in future supplements?

12. In the cultural influences (starting on p140), there are indications that some influences have variable costs (reduced for certain races), is it then possible for a non-member of that race to also have that culture, provided backstory/history was sufficient in reasoning? (You could for example have a Throon raised as a Great Grass Centaur, thus proving that love knows no bounds)

13. When taking a profession, we may take BOTH starting skill bonuses? or just one? A similar question exists in the advancement bonuses that precede it - are we taking all 3 or just 1?

14. Are martiobarbuli the same as plumbata? ('barbuli martio' is barbed darts of mars, which are also called plumbata due to their containing plumbum - lead)? Which is why they essentially do double the damage of a pure dart?

15. Does Centaur armor include barding? (p398)

more later.

16. The ATK Bonus, is that missing from the Body Table (p20)?

17. Will there be a PDF released of the character sheet found in the back of the book?

18. The OP 1 spell "Attend Me!" (p714) states that "the caster's location [is relayed] to all sentient creatures within a 50 foot radius". This includes evil creatures trying to find and kill the caster?

19. When discussing "Impossible Seeming Times" (p532), the sentence reads "A team of 2, 3 or more quickly chews though the time required rapidly." Is there a metric to cover this division of work? What is the mechanical percentage of each team member? (This assumes of course that people perform equal loads.)

20. In the "Ssshaazzoor" martial art (p483), specifically the "Bloodlust of the Demons", the secret allows "you to use your Style skill instead of your Mind skill". This doesn't sound like a total replacement (Style for Mind), but makes the choice optional, based on whichever is higher, am I correct?

21. Also in the "Ssshaazzoor" Martial Art (p483) the prerequisites list WITS but not a specific number or range of numbers, is the number in the 13-15 range like the other requisite attributes?

Come back a minute to the ATK bonus. If it's not supposed to be there, why then on the character sheet in the back of the book, as well as a pdf character sheet that I've seen is there references to either "ATK +" (sheet in back of book) or "ATK Bonus"?

Can it be removed from the mechanics without throwing the combat system out of wack?

Is it supposed to be in the mechanics, and if so, how is it determined?

I understand this is a very old thread, though if anybody in the future comes along maybe they will like this idea.

Yes, the character sheets are [seemingly] a bit redundant in ways. For example, the already mentioned ATK+ (which is pointless because its just COORD), as well as Weight- just below it (unneeded since weight is already down with the character's characteristics) (not the compounds of attributes, rather where race, eyes, and etc are located).

I am a firm believer that even if it is a typo, the character sheet can be worked. With ATK+, I simply note my total with whatever weapon I most often will use. This works very well and makes battle faster (we all know how long battles take). I will add up the "final" from the skill sheet of whatever weapon, the weapon itself recorded at the bottom of the front sheet, my COORD, and any special that I never have, and I put the total of all this under ATK+. Now when you roll for an attack, just add this number to your roll and bada-bing! Write small and fit multiple weapons in there!

With weight, I am unsure whether I will do it this way forever, but iv'e been putting down the total of any carried weight here. However, by the book, one needn't calculate actual weight (for unequipped items). But if you do in your games then there you go.
