I understand this is a very old thread, though if anybody in the future comes along maybe they will like this idea.
Yes, the character sheets are [seemingly] a bit redundant in ways. For example, the already mentioned ATK+ (which is pointless because its just COORD), as well as Weight- just below it (unneeded since weight is already down with the character's characteristics) (not the compounds of attributes, rather where race, eyes, and etc are located).
I am a firm believer that even if it is a typo, the character sheet can be worked. With ATK+, I simply note my total with whatever weapon I most often will use. This works very well and makes battle faster (we all know how long battles take). I will add up the "final" from the skill sheet of whatever weapon, the weapon itself recorded at the bottom of the front sheet, my COORD, and any special that I never have, and I put the total of all this under ATK+. Now when you roll for an attack, just add this number to your roll and bada-bing! Write small and fit multiple weapons in there!
With weight, I am unsure whether I will do it this way forever, but iv'e been putting down the total of any carried weight here. However, by the book, one needn't calculate actual weight (for unequipped items). But if you do in your games then there you go.
