Doing well Thanks, I think she gets a bit lonely with my traveling, but I keep pointing out to her that she has extensive uncontested time with the TV remote and that keeps her happy. How is Josie doing with her Graphics Business? If she is taking outside business let me know as a firm I know might be in the market for some graphics for a conference/tradeshow display.

'allo, everyone! Shen here, reporting in from Central Coast CA, along with Kketh. :D Good to see the site up and running; looks great, and I can't wait for the games to get going again.

(Edit: Seems the avatar upload isn't working. Ah well.)

Achkk, sorry Monty, didn't get back to this thread for a bit and just saw your reply to me. I will email Josie tomorrow and see if I can't send some biz her way.

No kidding about the work deal. The database position I'm in now literally logs time in five-minute increments tied to job number.

I've always been a bit chaotic, so this level of law and order can be a bit daunting. That which does not kill us makes us linger.

California seems to be pretty well represented in the forums. :P

Strange that...we are going up at the end of the month to see old friends (Starlock and I) and it would seem that without staying in direct touch for a zillion years, they too have been playing Arduin all these years.

West Coast all the way baby!

Hello everyone!

Belorin here, on the old boards my username was Alyssa after my half Amazon half demon Warrior.
Been lurking around the new forums and am really liking what I see with the new Arduin Eternal. Looking forward to hearing from the playtesters as they put it thru it's paces.

West Coast Rocks!

Hi,

Well I'm a new member. Haven't played Arduin for decades . . . but still have all of the old original books.

I'm very interested in seeing how this new version turns out. I'd like to have been involved in the playtesting but just found out about it today . . . *sigh* . . . oh well, we're moving to a new house on Beltane (first of May) and my wife and I will be busy getting settled for a while so it probably wouldn't have worked out anyway.

Let's see, I'm in my late-50s, retired, used to live on the Central California coast (Monterey) but am now on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.

There's a nice gaming community here so I'll be looking forward to what comes out with Arduin Eternal.

Welcome to the community Bluebear. I must say, the fact that there are folks playing Arduin for as many years as we all have really does say something for the world and the system.

If memory serves correctly, there is another west coast group of play-testers; specifically cali people. If I am correct about this, can i get someone to drop me a PM? I would like you talk to you about possibly getting together as a large group to play once or twice.

Rylaien,

Where abouts in California are you located. My group is in Southern California, the Antelope Valley to be precise, Palmdale/Lancaster to be even more so...thoug we have a couple of commuters from farther down south who will be joining us as well.

John
