the character depth created at the developmental stage was the one thing we really wanted to add - basically a "Wordly" character.

The reason for the rational behind this thought: We have always felt (and most Arduin aficionado's have felt as well) that the "worldly" or Cultural aspects of Arduin is what truely made Arduin special, even Dave Hargrave says in his own writings that the system doesnt matter. Well we think the system will matter when it come to AE especially because of the Cultural depth that was incorporated into the system. This will help propel Role-Play to the max but leave vast amounts of room to deploy anything new.

Well assuming I have not stepped into it...Late mid-late May 2009 for the core rulebook and mid-late june 2009 for the expanded bestiary/treasure book.

I should have a better indication in the next two weeks.

I will be looking to press gang my gaming group into buying the AE for everyones better understanding of the system. I start to explain it and diffuculty rating begins to sound like a barrier for them to grasp. See ya'll round the table.
